I recently had the joy of working with Holly, a local doula and the heart behind Your Labor Neighbor.

Holly is not only an incredible support to new parents in our community, she’s also a mom herself to two beautiful kids — which makes her work even more personal and impactful.
For her branding photography session, we focused on creating a wide variety of images she can use across her website, social media, and marketing. That meant switching up outfits, backgrounds, and poses so she has plenty of options to fit any platform or message. Whether it’s a polished headshot for her homepage, a welcoming image for her About page, or behind-the-scenes lifestyle shots for Instagram, Holly now has a full library of photos that reflect her warmth, expertise, and professionalism.

We also incorporated meaningful props that highlight her work as a doula and educator: a rebozo, a pelvis model, a lactation book, and even a placenta model. These tools aren’t just visual details — they represent the knowledge and resources Holly brings to every client she supports. Including them in her session helps tell her story in an authentic and engaging way.
By mixing in different poses, settings, and props, we were able to capture Holly’s personality and her professional expertise in a way that feels approachable and versatile. I’m so excited for her to use these images as she continues to grow Your Labor Neighbor and support families in their parenting journeys.
