Welcome to the Bark Side
Houston & Sugar Land's Premier Pet Photographer
Zoomies? We can that action photography.

Professional Photography for unprofessional pets.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm Danielle - professional treat dispenser, photographer and hair magnet.
I take photos of your pet being their weird, goofy, loveable self.
No stiff posing. No matching outfits (unless that's your thing- zero judgment).
If your dog has the attention span of a goldfish or the grace of a toddler in roller skates, you're my kind of client.

"The only model I trust is the one that licks its own butt."

Amelia, Sugar Land
"Danielle was so amazing with my two rescue pups! My dogs can be nervous but she made them so comfortable and got amazing photos! So glad we have these after having a health scare with my older pup."

Charlotte, Houston TX
"Danielle has such an amazing way with animals! She was great at getting our new kitten in adorable poses with my daughter and really capturing the joy!"

Suzie, Katy, TX
"Danielle is so good with anxious dogs! She was so patient when my dog was being camera shy and staying between my legs and let her come out at her own pace. She also did such an amazing editing job you would never know she was on leash the whole time!"

FAQs
You have questions.
We may have answers.

Does my dog need to sit?
Look, babies don't sit on command and we still take great photos of them.
I started photographing dogs as a volunteer photographer for my local shelter. That means photographing some of the toughest cases- dogs that were part feral, scared and knew zero commands. If your dog is breathing, we'll get great photos.
Will my dog be on leash?
That depends on the location.
Photos at your home won't need a leash but photos outside usually do. Don't worry! That's what photoshop is for.
2011-2014
Can I be in the photos too?
2007-2010
Absolutely!
I love taking pictures of pets and their people. You can stay in all of them or just a few- your choice. Just be warned- your dog will probably steal the spotlight.
Where do outdoor sessions take place
I have a number of local locations that I love using including Sugar Land Memorial Park, Brazo Bend River Park, Cullinan Park and Oyster Creek Park. I also do outdoor sessions at the beach (Surfside beach is my favorite). If you have a favorite location I'm always happy to explore new dog friendly stops as well!
