How do I book a session?
Booking your family or newborn photography session is simple: just fill out my contact form, and I’ll send you available dates. Once we confirm, a signed contract and retainer fee secure your spot. I recommend booking newborn photos during your second trimester and fall family photos several months in advance, since those are the busiest times.
How long does a family photography session last?
Most outdoor family sessions in Sugar Land and Houston last about 45–60 minutes. This gives us enough time for candid play, posed portraits, and all the in-between moments without anyone feeling rushed. In studio sessions often take less take- children's milestones sessions can be just 15-30 minutes and maternity sessions can be as long or short as you want. You design your perfect session, every time. Whether you need a quick family photo update or a full gallery of lifestyle images - you choose. Newborn sessions usually take 2–3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and breaks.
How soon will we get our photos?
For most family sessions, you’ll receive your online gallery within 2 weeks. Newborn photography galleries typically take around the same timeframe, with sneak peeks shared earlier so you don’t have to wait to see your little one’s first portraits. However, if you need rush photos for any reason (Christmas card deadlines etc), just let me know and I will do my best to prioritize your gallery!
What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?
Don’t worry — this is completely normal! My style is playful and relaxed. I focus on candid connections, games, and natural interactions, so kids feel comfortable and have fun. Some of the best photos come from the in-between moments where your family is just being yourselves. And, all of my sessions come with a Love Them Guarantee. Do you offer digital images or prints?
Yes! Every gallery includes the option to purchase high-resolution digital downloads, professional prints, canvases, and wall art. I use professional photo labs to ensure your photos look stunning in print. Clients love that they can order directly through their gallery — no need to figure out sizing or crop ratios.
Do you help with outfits and styling?
Before every session I send my client a detailed Guide with wardrobe and styling guidance and information on my sessions. If you need a little more help, I also work directly with my clients to help coordinate outfits for the whole family. Clients often send me photos of proposed wardrobe options and I provide feedback based on our shoot location and session goals or mood board. And of course, unlimited wardrobe changes are always included at no extra cost.
What should we expect during a session?
Believe it or not, most clients say that my sessions are fun. There is a lot of movement, laughter, tickle fights and fun prompts to get you to interact with your family. I may get your kids to cuddle in your lap and then point to the parent that lets them eat more cake. Or get your partner to tell their best dad joke. It'll be fun, goofy, slightly unhinged and weirdly awesome.

All sessions include a consultation call, detailed pdf Photography Session Guide, location suggestions and wardrobe assistance. None of my sessions are timed. We make sure to get all the images you want, every time. Unlimited wardrobe changes for every shoot. After your photo session you have the option to purchase just the photos you love. Can I bring my dog to the family session?
Absolutely—fur babies are family too! I love including pets in family photos. Just let me know ahead of time so we can pick a pet-friendly location and plan for a few fun shots. I also offer pet photography sessions at my home studio, in your home or outdoors. These sessions are focused on your fur baby but can also include family members. Interested?
