When Should You Book a Fresh 48 Session?
The best time to book your Fresh 48 session is during your second or early third trimester. I only accept a limited number of these sessions per month to stay flexible around due dates, so booking early ensures you’re on my calendar.
Once your baby is born (or better yet when you are in labour), you’ll just send me a quick message or text, and I’ll be there within 24 hours to capture your session. I’m on-call for you around your due date so there’s no scrambling or scheduling stress.
Where Do Fresh 48 Sessions Take Place?
Fresh 48 sessions usually happen:
In your hospital room (at Memorial Hermann, Houston Methodist Sugar Land, or other local hospitals)
At a birth center
Or in your home after a home birth
I use natural light and minimal gear, so the session is quiet, unobtrusive, and focused on your connection—not your surroundings.
You don’t need a pristine nursery or matching outfits—just yourselves, your baby, and this beautiful moment of newness.
What to Expect During the Session
Sessions last about 30–45 minutes
I’ll gently guide you, but mostly just observe and document
You can include baby alone, parents, siblings, and even grandparents if they’re visiting
No stress about makeup, outfits, or baby “behaving”—this is about real life, not perfection
I focus on quiet cuddles, tiny details, yawns, stretches, breastfeeding (if desired), and those beautiful in-between moments of connection and wonder.
