Who says 3 months is too late for newborn photos?

It was so lovely to meet Anna and her beautiful baby boy. He was a bit over three months old but hadn't had a chance to do classic newborn photos so -obviously- I felt the need to wrap him up and put him in a bucket:)

Anna also wanted to make sure to capture some nursing photos which I love. I know not all mamas are comfortable with this, but for me, some of my fondest memories of my kids' are nursing them as young babies. There is such a connection while you sit there, unable to hurry around doing all of your other chores and activities, and focus on the tiny, calm, warm snuggly human on your lap. To this day there is an odd sort of peace that I get when I see my kids eating, and I think maybe this is where it all began.
